What Lumingo Provides
Lumingo helps create adaptive language-learning plans from your goals, level, schedule, diagnostics, progress, and chat context. Lumi is an AI guide inside Lumingo that can help with setup, learning questions, explanations, and adjustments to your plan.
Lumingo is for educational and language-learning support. It is not a school, accredited education provider, professional certification service, or guaranteed path to a specific result.
Beta Status And Product Changes
Lumingo is currently a free public beta. The beta may include bugs, downtime, incomplete features, usage limits, changing AI behavior, and experimental flows.
Lumingo may add, remove, pause, rename, or change features at any time, including learning flows, AI features, limits, supported file types, sign-in methods, and pricing options.
AI Limitations
AI output may be incomplete, inaccurate, outdated, or unsuitable for your situation. You should review AI-generated content before relying on it.
Lumingo does not provide medical, legal, financial, psychological, immigration, tax, or other professional advice. Do not use Lumingo as a substitute for professional advice.
Lumingo does not guarantee language-learning results, fluency, exam scores, job outcomes, or any specific progress timeline.
User Content And Uploads
You are responsible for the content you submit to Lumingo, including goals, messages, answers, files, images, and other materials.
You keep your rights to your own submitted content. You grant the Lumingo project permission to host, store, copy, process, transmit, display, analyze, and transform your submitted content as needed to operate Lumingo, provide AI features, personalize learning plans, maintain reliability, enforce these Terms, and provide support.
Files uploaded during setup or chat may be processed by Lumingo and AI providers/subprocessors to provide responses. Lumingo does not store these uploads as standalone files except profile avatars, but extracted content, file names, messages, and AI context may be stored in conversations, learning history, logs, or reliability diagnostics.
Do not upload third-party personal data, confidential data, illegal content, medical, financial, or legal documents, or content you do not have rights to share.

Intellectual Property
Lumingo, including its platform, brand, interface, code, service design, prompts, systems, and service materials, is owned or controlled by the Lumingo project or its licensors.

Suspension And Termination
Lumingo may suspend, restrict, or terminate access if we believe there is abuse, legal risk, security risk, non-payment after paid plans launch, violation of these Terms, or conduct that harms Lumingo, users, providers, or the service.
You may stop using Lumingo at any time.
Account Deletion
You can delete your account from Settings where the deletion feature is enabled. You may also contact privacy@lumingo.me for privacy or deletion requests.
Deleting an account is intended to remove your sign-in account and app-owned learning data. If paid plans launch, deletion may be temporarily blocked while subscription or billing status is reviewed.
More privacy details are available in the Privacy Policy.
Third-Party Services
Lumingo uses third-party providers to operate the service. Examples include Supabase for database/auth/storage, Vercel for hosting/performance, OpenRouter/OpenAI/Anthropic for AI processing where used, PostHog for product analytics, Upstash for rate limiting/reliability, Stripe for payments when billing launches, and Google sign-in.
Third-party services may have their own terms and policies. Lumingo is not responsible for third-party services outside Lumingo's control.

Beta features may change or break. AI features may produce incorrect or unexpected output.
Limitation Of Liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, the Lumingo project will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, lost learning progress, loss of goodwill, or service interruption.
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability, mandatory consumer rights, or other rights that cannot be excluded or waived under applicable law.
Changes To These Terms
Lumingo may update these Terms as the product, legal setup, providers, or business model changes. If changes are material, Lumingo will make reasonable efforts to show the updated Terms clearly. Continued use of Lumingo after an update means you accept the updated Terms.
