Account Deletion

This page explains how to delete your Lumingo account and what happens to your data when you do.

Last updated: May 4, 2026

How to Delete Your Account

If you are signed in, open Settings, go to Session, and choose the account deletion option. You will need to confirm the action before deletion starts. Account deletion cannot be undone.

What Deletion Is Intended To Remove

When deletion completes, Lumingo is intended to remove the following app-owned account data:

  • Your sign-in account and profile.
  • Your goals, learning plans, and roadmaps.
  • Your learning progress.
  • Your conversations and chats with Lumi.
  • User-linked analytics records.
  • User-linked AI operation logs.
  • Managed avatar files, where applicable.

What May Be Retained Or Delayed

Some information may not disappear immediately or may be retained for limited operational, security, legal, or provider reasons:

  • Backups: deleted data may remain in system backups for a limited period until backup rotation or deletion processes remove it.
  • Security and provider logs: limited logs may be retained to protect the service, investigate abuse, and maintain reliability.
  • Anonymous analytics: anonymous or aggregated analytics that can no longer reasonably identify you may be retained.
  • Billing records: if paid plans launch later, billing, tax, and legal records may be retained as required by law or payment providers.

If You Cannot Sign In

If you cannot sign in to delete the account yourself, contact privacy@lumingo.me. Whenever possible, send the request from the email address connected to your Lumingo account so we can verify your identity.

Subscriptions And Billing

If paid plans are introduced later, account deletion may be temporarily blocked while active subscription or billing status is reviewed to prevent unintended charges or billing issues.
